Chappie

Chappie is the star of this post (though photos below will include his best friends Pugrish and Mr. Kitty!) He wears a fashionable tuxedo and unique nose marking, as seen below.

Chappie is a happy chap! He's definitely got my husband's grandmother figured out (hah), between the cuddles he receives when he drapes himself across her at night (usually sporting the love eyes below),

to the treats and treats and treats he gets for coming inside when she calls - he is definitely one happy chappie! But it's not why we called him so. My husband's sister thinks it's because his nose looks like it has a Charlie Chaplin mustache! haha but that would be a no as well (though it was a generally good and cleaver guess!)

No, Chappie got his name because when I found him tiny and malnourished on the trail by our house, the movie Chappie had just come out (this was in 2015). Anyway, Chappie has always looked up to his surrogate brothers, Mr. Kitty and Pugrish. Here's a photo of the three of them sleeping in the three cat beds I made them, side by side by side (the way they like it). Chappie used to try getting in a cat bed with Pugrish but soon grew too big for it lol.

And below are a series of playful fighting between (and instigated by) Chappie versus Pugrish (who basically would just let it happen and in the end would just groom his baby once the baby calmed down lol)

You can tell in the photo below Pugrish I saying "Are you done?" and Chappie is thinking "....fine...." hah!

Chappie really was spoiled growing up, considering he could have lived outside for life (though when we found him he was very, very malnourished!), but instead he found a loving home, loving people, many treats, siblings and one sibling in particular that loved and groomed him always! ❤
